interesting thats a UDH registration, RichH's car used to be a UDH, as was the BTTF car that Glen Hale used to drive.

Looks a tidy and sorted car for the money, not too keen on the numberplate stuck to the rear fascia tho...

Also this one painted black. The owner has started removing this paint on the drivers door. It'll be interesting to see if the bodywork is in restorable condition over the whole car. I can't help to think a panel-beater will suddenly come across areas of bondo/isopon on a rear quarter!
The electrics look like there a fire waiting to happen. Overall though the car looks like a good project for someone wishing to save another 'D' but I don't
we'll see this car again in its original SS bodywork.

Quote:We are unsure if the car runs but apparently it did before going on exhibition, but will require recommissioning. - the price requested reflects this.

Although its unknown if its roadworthy, methinks this one should be left as a museum piece or at best a showcar for parades etc.

Is this not the cars the stars museum one that does not have an engine?????? Certinally given the location it's the right area. Infact it would take a lot of re-commissioning!

hi

i think it is carsofthestars

and i think if i remember right a 'mockup' kitted out and then used for display/promotion.
(only in this country maybe?)

as fas as i know never in any films etc (only holiday makers)

i enquired if for sale a couple of years ago, and i think they were talking more than £30k

The Car's of the Stars BTTF DMC was a BTTF 3, with 1955 white walls on it. So unless they've gone back in time and had the upgrade done again lol!....

& a link of course! http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/BACK-FUTURE-DELORE...4cf28ddacb

I wondered what Rissy meant when he said
Quote:Poor thing
Now on comparing it with a (what I think is) a real BTTF car I see what he means.
