Ebay Delorean - ayr41 - 24 Aug 2010 I noticed this Delorean posted on ebay if anyone is interested. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... K:MEWAX:IT Re: Ebay Delorean - Rissy - 24 Aug 2010 I think there may be a mass exodus in the USA preparing for many DMC's.... http://shop.ebay.com/?_from=R40&_trksid ... Categories Re: Ebay Delorean - Guinney1971 - 24 Aug 2010 interesting thats a UDH registration, RichH's car used to be a UDH, as was the BTTF car that Glen Hale used to drive. Looks a tidy and sorted car for the money, not too keen on the numberplate stuck to the rear fascia tho... Re: Ebay Delorean - euro_spec - 18 Sep 2010 Also this one painted black. The owner has started removing this paint on the drivers door. It'll be interesting to see if the bodywork is in restorable condition over the whole car. I can't help to think a panel-beater will suddenly come across areas of bondo/isopon on a rear quarter! The electrics look like there a fire waiting to happen. Overall though the car looks like a good project for someone wishing to save another 'D' but I don't we'll see this car again in its original SS bodywork. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/1981-LOREAN-DMC12 ... 4152de29c9 Pictures posted as auctions only last ten days. Re: Ebay Delorean - stunned_monkey - 18 Sep 2010 That's John Dore's in Ireland, he's on the delorean.ie forum Re: Ebay Delorean - euro_spec - 21 Oct 2010 BTTF D on the bay this time. Quote:We are unsure if the car runs but apparently it did before going on exhibition, but will require recommissioning. - the price requested reflects this. Although its unknown if its roadworthy, methinks this one should be left as a museum piece or at best a showcar for parades etc. Re: Ebay Delorean - Rissy - 21 Oct 2010 ...poor thing. what a god awful mess that is. Whoever did that, should be ashamed of themselves. Re: Ebay Delorean - Chris Williams - 21 Oct 2010 Is this not the cars the stars museum one that does not have an engine?????? Certinally given the location it's the right area. Infact it would take a lot of re-commissioning! Chris Re: Ebay Delorean - steve.s - 21 Oct 2010 hi i think it is carsofthestars and i think if i remember right a 'mockup' kitted out and then used for display/promotion. (only in this country maybe?) as fas as i know never in any films etc (only holiday makers) i enquired if for sale a couple of years ago, and i think they were talking more than £30k Steve Re: Ebay Delorean - Rissy - 21 Oct 2010 The Car's of the Stars BTTF DMC was a BTTF 3, with 1955 white walls on it. So unless they've gone back in time and had the upgrade done again lol!.... Re: Ebay Delorean - ayr41 - 21 Oct 2010 This is the COTS Delorean from Alexandria which I believe has now closed. Mybe they have taken this one back and now have surplus Re: Ebay Delorean - euro_spec - 21 Oct 2010 & a link of course! http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/BACK-FUTURE-DELOREAN-EXHIBITION-SHOW-CAR-UNIQUE-/330486897355?pt=Automobiles_UK&hash=item4cf28ddacb I wondered what Rissy meant when he said Quote:Poor thingNow on comparing it with a (what I think is) a real BTTF car I see what he means. Re: Ebay Delorean - Guinney1971 - 29 Oct 2010 [quote="euro_spec"]& a link of course! http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/BACK-FUTURE-DELOREAN-EXHIBITION-SHOW-CAR-UNIQUE-/330486897355?pt=Automobiles_UK&hash=item4cf28ddacb I've just been laughing at the "ask seller a question" bit  Re: Ebay Delorean - Stuart Rees - 30 Oct 2010 Sold for £10,100 That is a very sad looking Delorean, hope the new owner saves it and turns it back into a car again! lol Re: Ebay Delorean - ChutneyQuimLicker - 11 Jan 2011 The black and partially paintstrippered LHD Auto from Ireland is up on PH with a spare galvanised & powdercoated chassis, fuel tank closing plate and trailing arms if anyone is interested: http://pistonheads.com/sales/2388263.htm If anyone is interested please let me know.
