Assuming both PC's are at the same home address you could have one wireless router that is connected to your phone line. If one of the PC's is sat near the router it could be hardwired to the router. If not you will need a wirelss network card installed in each of the PC's so that they can talk to the router. Once connected you can transfer files between the systems!
Bluetooth isn't recommended for this type of configuration due to the limited range and data per second that can be transmitted.

The above shows routers with variety of wireless adapters to connect to the PC. Shopping around will allow you find the best setup for your needs. If you don't require your online activity to be high end (eg online games/streaming video) then don't go with the fastest as you won't see much benefit and your wallet will take more of a hammering.
