In addition to the Mailing Preference Service, which aims to take you off most 'direct mail' companies databases, you can now also opt out of all the junk mail that the Royal Mail delivers that is 'unaddressed' - ie "to the occupier"
Click on this link, and follow the destructions. You will get a letter from Royal Mail asking if you are really sure you dont want junk mail and do you really know what you are going to be missing out on.... :wink: .... but just sign the letter and send it back to the freepost address, and then in a few weeks the junk mail should have ceased.
