That guy survived just incase none of you know the story.... His helmet got sucked off his head and jammed the engine which saved his life, he got away with a few broken bones and some bruises. Here is the FULL video, including an interview with the guy. http://www.metacafe.com/watch/232469/gu ... ull_story/

We have a few of these videos at work, this one, another of a guy going into a Harrier jet engine (who survived) and about three more of people going in to engines from a BAE146 up to a DC8 non of whom survived. Messy! Although not quiet the same this is the one I like; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EoHd5LePyVc and this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S61zLcMF ... re=related (warning contains bad language!) Messy! my mum works for a company who repair and service engines for commercial airlines. The engine test centre had to be modified a few years ago after someone committed suicide by walking in front of a jet engine on test at full throttle - there was nothing left of the person, he literally came out the back of the engine as red mist.
