Project Cars @ BHCC
Indeed Chris, it looks like a good honest, un-mucked about with car...one or two minor bits missing and a touch of the 'Roger Moor's',

But a great car I recon.

It looks like they are using my technique of WD40 and kitchen rolls to make the underbody look like new.

Knock em down to $30 and it would be a great buy.....

Yes another great car.....obviously an auto is not everyones first choice, but I recon that mileage is probably correct. Its Cleary been well stored and looked after....out of the dreaded sun........ Its a fine car in my opinion.

It's had some upgrades, new water pump, fuel lines, and header tank, that's just what you can see.

It looks as though some blundering mechanic has sent a trolly jack, stright up through the thin part on the underbody. Angry

But its not structural and recon a weekends work and it could regain its strength and be made to look invisible .....if the patch bothers you that much.

I think again, at $30k it would be an excellent buy. Smile

Nice clean painted RED DeLorean, seems way overpriced for a painted car to me, $36,500: https://www.beverlyhillscarclub.com/1981...-10350.htm

Agreed Chris, if you want a painted one, you couldn't get a much better one.....but about $28 would seem right to me.

Project car @ $19,500 possibly only for the brave however: https://www.beverlyhillscarclub.com/1981...-10154.htm  Probably one of the worst frames I have ever seen!

That's up for more than mine was. Their $35k + cars are usually pretty consistent and reasonable, but their lower end ones are all over the place in terms of condition.

Another 'reasonable' project car priced at $21,750. Difficult to see the condition of the frame exactly so closer pictures would I think be required: https://www.beverlyhillscarclub.com/1983...-10656.htm

For the money it looks OK...but as Chris W says, subject to more photo's of the chassis frame.

It's obviously very badly Sun damaged and surprisingly rusty in places...(worse than MGJ)...but it does seem to have benefitted from some sort of wax protection underneath.

And todays offering @ $26,500: https://www.beverlyhillscarclub.com/1981...-10689.htm  May be over priced IMHO I would suggest better pics of the cassis are required

At a smidge under $30k, it appears to be a very nice example with very little work needed doing. Maybe a tad overpriced but i dont think by much.

It also looks very nice to me. Clearly it has been better stored that most examples we see from BHCC.....not been damp, not been sun-baked......a good looking original car. Smile
