dear all,

today I was privileged to take #2292 to a photoshoot in Derby for a forthcoming
DeLorean Buyers Guide in Classic Cars Magazine.

I'm assuming the magazine will be on sale March/April time, as they are working
on the magazine from tomorrow.

I've attached a couple of pics taken by John Colley, the photographer, who incidentally
also photographed #6772 (#2292's stablemate) for Retro Cars Magazine in 2005.

He's done an amazing job with the photos, including 'photoshopping' out the cracked
binnacle, a missing bit of rubber trim near the rear marker light and some other subtle
touches. He used a motorised turntable in the studio (which also had to be edited out
of the pics), certainly easier then the old days of jacking cars up, and manually moving
them about on 'go-jacks'.

I spoke to the journalist today doing the article, he said the magazine featuring
DeLorean will be the June issue which will be on sale late April (go figure lol).

Magazines dates are usually early, as it helps increase the shelf life, apparently!

the magazine isnt out until 24th April, but the one I put on Facebook was Phill's car
in this weeks (6 March) edition of Classic Car Weekly.
