Went back to the museum just before Christmas (for the VWOCGB AGM) and noticed this had picked up a few dents since the last time I had seen it earlier in the year
Anyone know the story behind the car and how come it's sat there rather than being driven and enjoyed?
I seem to vaguely remember something back in the yahoo group days that it had no engine? Or am I getting confused with another car?
As ever just curious.....
I wonder if they would ever part with it.... hmm....

from what I've seen on the blurb with it, its a car that used to live out in
Saudi Arabia/Kuwait, not sure on Vin, but I'm sure if you approached the
museum they'd be willing to tell you if its on private loan to them or if they
own it and would ever sell it.
I've got some photos of it on my pc if anyone's interested?

The blub sheet was missing both times I've seen it - everything else had one!

I'll see what I can find and post them on here, I've taken several pics of it between 2008 and 2012
during various car club visits to the museum.
