I got my 260 metering head refurbed by KMI last summer very quick turn-around, not cheap £250 ish if I remember correctly. But a good company to deal with.

the thing with these specialist rebuilders is they IMO charge the earth for what is basically a couple of hours work in which they charge £100 p/h + now thats the sort of money a brain sugeon is on ( and they are worth it), so in short they need their heads testing they arnt as good as they think they are TT robin b'stard
