older post but can update you.

they are indded exactly lotus esprit.....but the esprit ones are shorter.

however they do fit (ends exactly the same), and you just have to put your hand slightly under the seat.

i had to buy some for vin 1621, because no nos remaining.

i think though when i ordered from lotus 3-4 years ago, their stocks were dwindling too.

i did not checked but possible other lotus models may fit, like the excell etc.
