Dear Birksie
I would like to come out and see your car. It sounds like the the thing I am after. I am after a good example after having previously owned a terrible DeLorean with many faults etc
Please e-mail me on
heavenandco@btinternet.com
Please let me know when and where i can view the car. I am a serious buyer and I thank you for your im.
Kind regards

Michael,
I would reconsider your expectations of a Delorean. Most cars are terrible and they all have numerous faults when compared to a modern car.
I see from your occupation in your signature that you are in the Legal Profession. Any potential Delorean owner wishing to sell his or her car to you would be concerned by your expectation; and probably run a mile.
As long as you understand that the flaws, faults and build quality of these 32 year old handbuilt cars are inherent and not a reflection of the seller, then I'm sure someone will be willing to sell you one.
Good luck.

Dear Berksie
Thank you for your kind reply. Don't be put off by my profession because I specialise in divorce and separation and not litigation/sale of goods. I owned a DeLorean (vin 551) about 6 years ago, and I must say that I really regret getting rid of it, even though it wasn't a good example. I have been looking for an auto with black interior since getting rid of vin 551 and I think your car seems like a perfect replacement. After having owned one in the past I fully appreciate that they are not perfect but that is just part of owning one. I am going into this with my eyes well and truely open. All I am after is something in good condition that runs.
Please could I come and see the car at the weekend? If that is possible, please could you provide me wit the best time for viewin and the address (plus post code for the sat-nav).
Kind regards
Michael Heaven

Hiya,
it wasnt Birksie who replied to you - however, are you Mick Kerfoot?
If so, I know your old car very well, its been fully restored and is amazing now and lives
near Newark in Nottinhgamshire.
My ex was part of DMUK who did some work on #551 about 10yrs ago.
Welcome to the forum, and I hope you have a more enjoyable DeLorean ownership experience
in the future.
I'll forward a link to this thread to Paul just incase he doesnt get on here to see it.
