How about we create a new section of the forum that has a nice simple all in one check list of items needed for servicing the car and crucially the part numbers?
I'll start with what I know in regard to the items that need checking/replacing but sure there must me more parts/items I've not covered:-
Servicing
Oil 10/40 semi synthetic – 6000 miles/annually Volume needed from empty ?
Oil Filter
brake fluid – change every two years?
Grease nipples on control arms for ball joints upper and lower
Dist Cap (every 12,000 miles?)
Rotor Arm (every 12,000 miles?)
Air filter
coolant – 50% mix? Which type/does it matter
clutch fluid (dot4 only) volume from empty required ?
spark plugs
fuel filter
brake pads – greenstuff
Belts
aircon belt
altnerator belt
aircon
R134a gas (amount required 950g?) Oil amount?
Orifice tube
Accumulator
check for play in balljoints
The above lacks the current part numbers. I know some of those previously published are no longer correct/current so any help with publishing those that are known to be current/correct would be great.

Sounds like a plan, perhaps create a 'sticky' in the engine section when all the info is sorted?

This is great, thank you for this information. Does any one know where to get the tool to remove the sump plug? Is it just a standard tool?

Thanks for the comprehensive list Mike.
I now have all the bits except for:-
Quote:HT Leads - PFV902576 (Volvo 260/760 series B28 Ignition Lead set)
None of the motor factors I went to recognised the above part number. Any more information available so I can help source the right set?
Which version of the B28 is the DeLorean as I think there were multiple variants of the B28???

B28 F DeLorean version of PRV (Someone did tell me the 'F' is for foreign) UK sold Volvos etc. have B28E ('E' for Europe)
Ignition leads are in the electrical parts section on the forum but here's the link again.

B28F I always thought was the Federal (ie US) version, and B28E was the European version.
Remember the DeLorean in US engine spec is lower hp then an equivalent Volvo 760 of the same era.
The slightly later 760's were B280E, I think they had a slightly different cylinder heads or summat, cant exactly
remember though, but I'm sure Martin will advise
