Classic Car Restoration. Might be quite interesting. Can't see the whole series breakdown, so don't know what other cars their doing, but would be interesting if they at some point did an episode on one of the neglected DMC's we're all too used to seeing pictures of, and hearing stories about on the internet....

I watched this programme last night. Quite funny, and the most interesting part I thought, was where these guys were going to view some of the neglected and stashed away old cars. Places you'd never think to find such things! Would definitely be interesting for them to do an episode on a DMC-12....

I thought it lacked credibility. Very much in the style of the 'American Hot Rod' and others. Very fake.
I don't for one second believe he 'accidentally' reversed a freshly painted motor into an engine that just 'happened' to be it the way
It was mostly about the loud mouth owner 'ranting' at people and virtually nothing about the restoration process.
I'll take Wheeler Dealers over that dross any day....

I say 'restoration' - 'bodge' would be a more accurate description....

+1
Poor workmanship, and whilst I think they were correct to leave the sunroof in they must have been able to find a more period one with perhaps a chrome surround rather than a 1980's plastic version

It's funny that you mention this show because in the 4th episode that was on on Monday night this week (in which they do a 60s Mustang) there is actually a DeLorean hiding under a cover in the background of the workshop.
You can only see the very front poking out but it's there.
Makes you wonder.
