Model DMC-12's - Rissy - 05 Mar 2012

Hey all.

I'm finally the lucky winner on Ebay of one of the Minichamps numbered DMC-12. (They made a limited run of 9,999, and each one is numbered)

Anyhoo,

Not having the information on the advert for the auction, I didn't know which number from the 9,999 the one I won, would be, and awaiting delivery of it, I thought, how cool it would be if it happened to be number 1,458 (to match my VIN#) 8)

So, of course, it wasn't. As would be expected. SO, it led me to think. Do any of the other enthusiasts out there, have one of the these models, and if so, does anyone have my VIN# numbered one?

the one I've got (purchased at a toy fair in Buxton years ago for a tenner), is #5314

The one i bought, and received on Saturday is #5123.

Anyone else out there with one of these?

Does my minichamps # match anyone's VIN#?

My one is 5432 (1 blast off!) closest I could get at the time to my Vin number, nice model but a lot of money, especially with lots of little kids on the hunt for them!

...anyone else aware of this?

Looks to be "coming soon" to a model shop near you, for about the £70 mark. (release date September this year) - i think they are also doing a Ghostbusters equivalent (2 of, a small one for about £70, and a larger for about £145!)

Anyway, here's the link:
