New question on the block - Rissy - 27 Sep 2009 Have you ever been asked: "So where is the flux capacitor?" ? ......thought not    ...Well, i've also now been asked a new one. A deep and interesting, and thought provoking question. A question that will challenge even the most intellectual and intelligent minds. A question that will have scientists and engineers all flurrying round their blackboard and calculators in a heated debate to try and answer first. A question that has very possibly plagued all of mankind since the dawn of time itself, and for which a super computer might very possibly never be designed, which will be powerful enough to come up with the correct answer.... The question a colleague of mine asked me yesterday: "...If you drove your DeLorean along the motorway at 100mph, and then flung BOTH doors open at the same time, would it fly?" My answer: "Yes, BOTH doors WOULD FLY ....right off!" I open the stage to the hilarious debate of 2009 and personal opinions.... ...our survey says.... GO! Re: New question on the block - Guinney1971 - 27 Sep 2009 PMSL!!!    I remember being at a show years ago, and someone got on their hands and knees under the side of the car as if looking for summat. I asked if I could help, and they said "oh, just wondering where the train tracks were!" Utterly random or what! lol Re: New question on the block - Rissy - 12 Nov 2009 Finally! The question of the century has been answered by someone of great mind! (Cost me a FORTUNE to have NASA answer this properly, so I hope you all appreciate it!) (I also think that because i answered this question in almost the exact same way, using almost the exact same words....this too, makes ME of great mind :-D ) http://www.popsci.com/scitech/article/2 ... floored-it Re: New question on the block - Guinney1971 - 12 Nov 2009 Brilliant!!!!!!    Re: New question on the block - Darren C - 16 Nov 2009 Conversation overheard the other day by two passers by of my Delorean.. Bloke 1 " Is that a Delorean?" Bloke 2 " No it's a kitcar. Real deloreans were confiscated by the government or something" Re: New question on the block - Guinney1971 - 18 Nov 2009 Darren C Wrote:Conversation overheard the other day by two passers by of my Delorean.. lol, you just have to laugh at the ignorance of some people! Re: New question on the block - Rissy - 18 Nov 2009 Darren C Wrote:Conversation overheard the other day by two passers by of my Delorean.. That IS quite funny, but also a little sad. Disbelief I think is a good word. (mild shaking of ones head) Re: New question on the block - Rich Hanlon - 19 Nov 2009 Or by a passer-by as I was out washing the car one day.. "Hey look, it's the Fonz's car!!" |
