Again, if you are interested in your car's history, you may want to request the previous keepers list from the DVLA.
There is a chage for this (£5) for which you get a photocopy of the V5 change of ownership documents for the previous keepers held by the DVLA.
As a note, they are still searching for my 'original' documents from when it was first registered in 1981 before being shipped to the US, so the pack I currently have only goes far to the re-import date.
