RE: Project Cars @ BHCC - Chris Williams - 29 Sep 2019 Again not really a project car, Solid Red painted car @ $39,950: https://www.beverlyhillscarclub.com/1981-delorean-dmc-12-c-10350.htm RE: Project Cars @ BHCC - Chris P - 29 Sep 2019 Looks a lovely car. But the old adage is 'a painted car is worth about 30% less than a regular one". Depends if you like Red painted cars? I do, but not necessarily on a DeLoreans. RE: Project Cars @ BHCC - DMC1983 - 29 Sep 2019 I would agree. That seems to be the consensus within the community but for some reason even painted cars are asking a premium pricetag now. Question is, is there any panel damage thats being hidden? Or is it a case of the PO having more money than sense? And does that car phone work? RE: Project Cars @ BHCC - Chris P - 29 Sep 2019 Who can tell...?....that is the biggest fear...but even if there was no panel damage, removing the paint and re-brushing the stainless is a mammoth task in its-self. Personally I recon $25k is nearer the mark. RE: Project Cars @ BHCC - Rich Hanlon - 01 Oct 2019 Got to say that looks like about the nicest painted version I've ever seen. RE: Project Cars @ BHCC - Chris Williams - 07 Oct 2019 Solid looking project car at $19,950: https://www.beverlyhillscarclub.com/1983-delorean-dmc-c-10364.htm At actually not a bad price for a project, lots to spend on missing parts and looking at it I wonder if it has been or was intended to be a BTTF replica? Chris RE: Project Cars @ BHCC - Chris P - 07 Oct 2019 My main worry would be the missing air cleaner.....could have let damp and muck in. (that assuming its a non-runner) But solid enough. RE: Project Cars @ BHCC - DMC1983 - 08 Oct 2019 Thats easily a non runner. I would be very surprised if it ran RE: Project Cars @ BHCC - Chris Williams - 24 Oct 2019 Nice looking early car: https://www.beverlyhillscarclub.com/1981-delorean-dmc-c-10417.htm $31.750 RE: Project Cars @ BHCC - Chris Williams - 06 Nov 2019 Another nice looking solid car with some funky 80's accessories @ $34.750: https://www.beverlyhillscarclub.com/1981-delorean-dmc-c-10454.htm RE: Project Cars @ BHCC - DMC1983 - 06 Nov 2019 Its nice to see one thats had some upgrades like the fuel lines. RE: Project Cars @ BHCC - Dangermouse - 11 Nov 2019 This makes me sad. He is, or was, a local (original) owner to me, in his 70s, had the car for years. Didn't even know he was selling, or how it ended up at BHCC RE: Project Cars @ BHCC - Chris Williams - 16 Nov 2019 Another reasonable looking car at $29,950: https://www.beverlyhillscarclub.com/1981-delorean-dmc-c-10481.htm Quote:Didn't even know he was selling, or how it ended up at BHCCCertainly makes you wonder how they get so many to sell. I wonder if they just get people making enquiries and they go around to look/value and wave dollar bills at people to get a quick/cheap sale? Chris RE: Project Cars @ BHCC - Chris P - 16 Nov 2019 probably read the small adds in local papers / online. RE: Project Cars @ BHCC - Chris Williams - 19 Nov 2019 Another reasonable car @ $33,500: https://www.beverlyhillscarclub.com/1981-delorean-dmc-c-10526.htm |
