For cycling it has to be the sefest city in the UK. Red tarmac called redways takes you away from the roads and link together in their own kind of grid system. Imagine windings wide paths far from the road... this is the reality. I am a total covert and very happy to live in the city of the future whilst driving the car of the future when not riding my bike...

Seriously though Chris, the only other town I've seen designed with proper cycleways that are off the main roads (but still run along side them with underpasses and stuff) is my old home town of Stevenage - mind you, that still didnt stop the lycra brigade going on the main roads... :roll:
