- Flux Capacitor - 29 Jul 2008 Looks cool! Out of interest, how do you take screenshots on the PS2? - MikeWard - 29 Jul 2008 No idea, that mod is for Vice City for the PC. - Flux Capacitor - 30 Jul 2008 Ahh its the PC version! OK, thought it was the PS 2 version! - MikeWard - 01 Aug 2008 Hey Tris, just noticed you are a member on their site  Re: Back To The Future Mod for Grand Theft Auto !!! - MikeWard - 11 Sep 2008 Ok, I got bored with bug testing so decided to have a little fun making a couple of videos, links are below if anyone is interested. http://s444.photobucket.com/albums/qq17 ... Use a PS2 Devkit, but they are size of a large tower pc, not available to the general public and will cost you 10 grand Most game devkits have a screen grabber function built-in which allows us to transfer a frame from the console to the controlling pc. (Useful for colour matching and recording bugs etc). Most screenshots used for reviews are done this way and sent out by the developers to magazines etc. Otherwise I don't know.. I guess you can get some sort of hardware grabber which sits between a standard console and the tv which intercepts the picture..? Lot easier to get screenshots on a pc! I've never had to do it on anything other than a Devkit! Vice City: Doc's Truck Animations http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Heem7diDMVQ No.131 Rogers Locomotive Teaser http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u2MLqS6-77M 1955 Hill Valley Courthouse Square version 2 - Preview http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AV6l1R1khso Time Circuit Keypad Entry http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3wsNNeiafM0 New Clocktower Rogers Effects - It's about to blow!! San Andreas: (yes we are now doing an SA version) SA Hover Animation Teaser http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6MJdpFoFgKQ SA Coils Teaser http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_GBi_jfSRU4 The Future? GTA IV? - This is WIP, needs a ton of work to finish it off Re: Back To The Future Mod for Grand Theft Auto !!! - MikeWard - 04 Dec 2009 Excuse the double post, but unless I am being blind I can't see the edit button. I guess there is a no edit after x mins setting on the board. Couple more SA shots: Coils now glowing, like VC, but much brighter. Effects after time traveling The way the SA version is coming along, it's effects are going to beat it's VC counterpart by a long way. Re: Back To The Future Mod for Grand Theft Auto !!! - MikeWard - 07 Dec 2009 Seriously, we need a permanent edit button Decided to finally reveal the last 6 months of work, it is nice to finally see one of the key buildings change when you travel http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XbsJ0FmaqcE A similar thing again, but some wanted to see it change in both instant and cutscene mode http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4WFUYVoCz1s Enjoy. |
