truth is - I took the phonecall from James Bourne enquiring about the car
when Dave Woodyard had DGS for sale in early 2006.
I then rang Dave, and told him who it was enquiring, and he said that the
kid was a timewaster who had messed people around and that he wouldnt
be ringing him back. James then did go on to buy the Explodaview Car, but
to my knowledge, he couldnt get it insured because of being an 18 year
old 'popstar' who had only just passed his driving test.
Alistair Vanstone will be able to back this up, as we spoke on the phone about
it at the time.

Has he still got the explodaview car and is it looked after and still on the road?

He still has it but it's not on the road AFAIK. Al knows. I wonder if he ever had the headlights wired up properly... it has Halos but the last time I saw it, they weren't working because some bright spark didn't realise they were the sidelights. The actual photo on the poster is doctored to show 4 hella lights.

i have had to put a lot of stuf right on the car it certainly drives and runs better scince i own it now i dont think he used it often i use it daily it does go some now
i not sure if ya remember but i had those wheels of ya tha other fellow didnt want those tyres back in the end
but glad i changed those wheels one of the rear ones had a mass dent in the rear of the rim nasty stuff
